Photoshoot FAQs

Where will my shoot take place?

Your shoot can take place in any location that suits you and the type of shoot that you require.

The shoot can take place in an outdoor location, at your dance school, in a studio, or even in your living room. Prima Chroma Photography currently does not work out of a studio but can provide a home studio set up for any location.

If a studio shoot is required, Prima Chroma Photography will arrange the most appropriate studio for your requirements.

Any studio or room rental will come at an additional cost to the packages.

We are based in Maynooth, Co. Kildare and can travel anywhere in Ireland.

What should I bring to the photoshoot?

Come to the photoshoot with clean hair styled ready for your headshots.

If you wish to wear makeup to the shoot, keep it simple and natural.

Bring along a hair styling kit ready for your ballet bun / dance hairstyle later in the shoot, after headshots.

Also, bring several changes of outfits, including a variety of leotards, skirts, tutus and accessories. Ensure to bring your dance shoes and anything you need to dance in.

You will need to warm up for your photographs so bring warm-up gear.

You will need to stay warm between shots so a zip-up hoodie, warm bottoms and booties (or similar) are useful.

Bring a bottle of water and a snack such as an energy bar to keep you feeling fit and hydrated throughout the photoshoot.

Am I allowed to bring someone with me?

Yes, you should bring somebody to the shoot with you.

This person should be able to help you with outfits makeup or hair.

If you are under 18, a parent/guardian needs to accompany you to the shoot. In the case of a dance school, a dance teacher can act as guardian for the shoot, but parental/guardian signature permission is required for the minor to participate in the shoot.

Will there be Make-up Artist there?

Makeup is not included in our packages. If makeup is required Prima Chroma Photography can organise to have a Make-up artist at the shoot, for an additional cost to the package fee.

How will my images be delivered?

Within 5 business days after the shoot, you will receive a link to your private gallery.

Here you will find the best images for your selection. These images will have watermarks, will be smaller than the final images and will not be fully edited. They are for selection purposes only.

After you complete your selection, all edited images will be delivered to you via web gallery with digital download capacity within 3-4weeks of your final selection.

The images will come in 2 formats:

1. Web-resolution for screen viewing, internet sharing and social media

2. Print resolution for prints up to A4

Can I purchase extras outside of my package?

Prima Chroma Photography can offer prints, print books and presentation sets for prints and/or USB. Note that the optional extras and printed products are purchased in additional to the package fee.

Additional images can also be purchased from your shoot.

Will my images be shared on line?

No images will be published by Prima Chroma Photography on either websites or social media.

However, Prima Chroma Photography may request permission to use select images for website or social media.

This will require your written permission.

How the process works:

Contact me through the contact form or any of the social media links.

We will have a phone call or zoom meeting to chat about what you need, and we will make a plan.

On your photoshoot day, we will create great images and have some fun.

You will have access to a personal online gallery to select your favourite images and download your fully edited images.
